Sunnyside Lawn, Surrey Centre & Hazelmere (City of Surrey)
All three City of Surrey cemeteries follow the flat marker schedule in Surrey Cemetery Management Bylaw No. 16174: markers 3″–5″ thick, with face dimensions set by lot type — from a 12″ × 10″ minimum on a single cremation lot up to a 36″ × 24″ maximum on a double burial lot. These sizes from our price list qualify:

The 12″ × 8″ size doesn't qualify at Surrey cemeteries — cremation lots require 10″–14″ front to back — so for single cremation lots we fabricate a compliant size such as 16″ × 12″ on request, along with the 36″ × 24″ double-lot maximum. Flat markers are installed by the City's caretaker after delivery; we prepare the memorial permit ($346.50 with GST in 2026), produce the marker, and deliver to the cemetery. Mountain View Cemetery (Vancouver)
Mountain View — Vancouver's only cemetery — works from five standard flat marker sizes (9″ × 12″, 10″ × 18″, 12″ × 20″, 16″ × 28″, and 18″ × 30″), in granite or bronze on a 3″ base, with any other size subject to cemetery approval through the memorial application. Three of our stock sizes match the City's standards exactly:

Maple Ridge & Whonnock Cemeteries
Maple Ridge Cemetery and Whonnock Cemetery permit exactly three flat marker sizes — 8″ × 12″, 12″ × 20″, and 18″ × 30″ — in stone or bronze, set flush with the lawn. Our price list covers all three:

No other flat marker sizes are permitted under Maple Ridge's bylaw. The City's Caretaker installs all flat markers after the interment, setting each into a concrete mould — order any flower vase together with the marker so the mould is sized for it. Inscriptions in Chinese, Punjabi, or any other language are permitted with a written interpretation, which we file with the City as part of your order. Port Coquitlam Municipal Cemetery
Port Coquitlam accepts granite or bronze markers only, and flush flat markers apply to specific areas: the older C, CA and D sections, the CR1–CR6 cremation sections, and supplementary cremation markers on family graves. These stock sizes qualify:

The 10″ × 14″ size for sections C and CA is fabricated on request. Note that the main ST casket burial sections require a raised marker 4″–6″ tall rather than a flush one — see our pillow markers for those graves. All markers are installed by cemetery staff after the Memorial Marker Permit and Care Fund contribution are paid, which we coordinate. Hatzic Cemetery (Mission)
Hatzic Cemetery permits flat markers only — granite, bronze, or marble, exactly 3″ thick, with a mandatory 3″ unpolished border around the polished design area. One of our stock sizes is the exact single-adult specification:

The 24″ × 36″ companion marker and 14″ × 18″ cremation/child size are fabricated to Hatzic's specifications on request. The City of Mission's marker permit and installation fee ($351.67–$422.03 with GST in 2026, depending on size) is paid before installation — we handle the paperwork and complete the required border and any bronze base before delivery. Lakeview Cemetery (Penticton)
Lakeview Cemetery is operated by the City of Penticton and permits flush granite flat markers 3″ thick. Standard lots allow one main marker from 20″ × 12″ up to a maximum of 36″ × 18″, individual markers of 12″ × 8″ (up to four per lot), and companion markers of 24″ × 8″ (up to two per lot). Every size in our price list qualifies at Lakeview:
